Insurance Renewals, Updating Your Data on Vision RECAP

Vision RECap makes it easy to support your insurance renewal for your assets.

Once you are logged into Vision RECAP this is the time to update and review your current data.

Here is a checklist of what to review and update for your insurance renewal.

Tenant information and annual gross rentals

Building replacement 

Ensure the building replacement value is adequate. If a recent valuation has not been completed, we will increase all Sums Insured by 4%. This is in-line with market inflation.

Updated Thermographic Scans, Sprinkler & Hydrant flow tests 

Have the latest scans and building test been uploaded. If faults have been detected, it’s important that these are raised as a risk and remedial works are detailed

Changes to the Property Management Agreements or Leases

Upload your updated agreements under My Assets.

1. Select the relevant asset
2. Select 'Edit Asset'
3. Under Asset Details chose Property Management
4. There will be the option to upload your agreement
    

Asbestos, APC, EPS reports

If you updated information obtained, please ensure they have been uploaded

Add these items to Risks and document for the relevant Asset and per building 

Add Risks to My Assets

Closing Risks

Once you have completed these steps 

If you have updated all the necessary data and information for your Assets and Insurance Renewal it is best to inform your Broker so they can continue preparation for your renewal.
