Use this article to learn how to register assets into VRC. To complete this requires a couple of parts and teamwork. 

This task is owned by the role/s below:

• PAC - Part 1
• SAC - Part 2

Part 1 - PAC Registers the Assets

These are completed by a PAC. What's my role again? I need a refresher

1. At your first login, your home page will present 'First Steps' 
2. Select 'Start' to register an asset
3. Select an asset card with the label 'Asset Registration Incomplete'
   See example:
   
4. Click 'Register Asset'
   
5. A form will pop up for you to enter details of the:
   
   1. Asset
   2. Buildings
   3. Tenants
      
6. Click 'Submit' once complete 
   
7. Done! You've now registered the asset. You'll see the asset card now labelled 'Awaiting Onboarding Approval' which will be completed by the SAC

Part 2 - Approve My Registered Assets - completed by SAC

These steps are completed by a SAC. What's my role again? I need a refresher

1. At your first login, follow 'First Steps' to familiarize the navigation of VRC
   • Check Team Members
   • Check assets
   • Found Differences?
   • Support your team
2. Once completed your home page will present your job tasks to complete 
3. Use your notifications or home page to open the task 'Asset Registration Approval and Readiness Request'
4. VRC will take you to 'My Assets'
5. Select the asset that's labelled 'Awaiting Onboarding Approval'
   See example below:
   
6. Click 'Onboard Asset'
   
7. A form will pop-up for you to review the details of the asset and approve once satisfied. You have the ability to make any necessary changes
8. Click 'Approve' and 'Confirm' to complete
9. Done! The asset is now registered and approved in VRC. You should see the asset card now labelled 'Live'

What happens now? 

From here, you're all set up and it's time to be a smooth operator for your assets, risk and insurance!

• Assets should now be labelled as 'Live' 
• Notifications will now trigger to appropriate users to action jobs to be done
• Brokers will be notified to add additional information such as Natural Catastrophe (NATCAT) data on your assets
