Roles
Getting started when appointing roles and setting up your team.
Tip #1: All organisations must appoint a MAC & SAC at a minimum.
Tip #2: One user/email can be assigned to only one user/role, not multiple roles.

MAC: Master Asset Contact - Full accountability of the organisation, all platform approvals and workflows including broker appointment, permissions and release of data to insurers.
MACD: MAC Delegate - Similarly to a MAC, organisation overview, full approval rights except broker appointment and broker insurance approvals
SAC: Strategic Asset Contact -Portfolio oversight, approve updates from PACs, full asset edit rights
PAC: Primary Asset Manager - Edit Asset, Building/Tenant, Edit Risks and Incidents. Perform ASSC.
Broker: Register assets, create insurance engagements and policies
Insurer - View data including downloading the underwriting matrix and accept insurance closings
Head Office - Overview of organisation only and download insights
MAC: Master Asset Contact

You have the highest user permission and full responsibility of the organisation within the platform. You can authorise a delegate known as the Master Asset Contact Delegate (MACD) to act on your behalf.
Responsibilities: On Vision RECap you have ultimate approvals
Including the only person who can appoint a broker and approved data for the Broker to share with insurer's. This approval request happens once an insurance engagement is prepared by the Broker, and you are requested and satisfied with the broker summary information.
Manage your team and asset onboarding. With the assistance of your MACD they can help overall to manage assets and have oversight over the platform and approve asset modifications and more. Importantly, you are ultimately responsible for the content across the platform to facilitate the best outcome for your team and organisation's asset data integrity.
Types of industry titles that hold MAC roles: National Asset Manager, Head of Asset Management, Head of Portfolio, Managing Director, CFO, General Manager - and you typically will have key accountability for all assets across your organisation.
Allocation: A maximum of 2 MACs on each organisation is permitted.

MACD: MAC Delegate

Responsibilities: You are appointed by the MAC or partnering MACD to serve as the backup and support with any heavy lifting or key platform duties, gaining similar functionality as the MAC.
What is the difference in authority between a MAC and MACD?
A MAC is the only user who can appoint a broker and approve the release of data and information for an insurance engagement to insurers.

SAC: Strategic Asset Contact

✔️ Portfolio oversight, approve changes/modifications in assset workflows, full asset editing rights

Responsibilities: You have strategic responsibility across asset/s or more typically an asset portfolio with visibility of a selection of asset insights.
You are a gatekeeper to the data of the assets you manage; you have the ability and responsibility to assign:
- Assets to team members, such as property and facilities managers who are known in the platform as a PAC (Primary Asset Contact)
- Add assets to the portfolio, and approval for assets to become registered and live in the platform.
You are key to the controls process, ensuring governance of information by assisting the Primary Asset Contact (PAC), providing additional information and assurance to the accuracy and richness of data where the PAC has not yet made this available.
Allocation: One SAC required per asset

PAC: Primary Asset Contact
🫡 User permission rights supporting a SAC
✔️ Edit Asset, Building/Tenant, Edit Risks, Incidents and Perform ASSC

Responsibilities: You're the operational backbone for the day-to-day management of assets. Often located on-site to qualify asset details, identify and record risks, manage incidents, perform Asset Safe Spot Check (ASSC), and maintain up-to-date asset data.
Types of industry titles that hold PAC roles: Property Manager, Facilities Manager, Building Manager or similar.
Allocation: No minimum required, maximum of 2 PACs per asset

Broker
🫡 User permission rights - Broker and insurer engagement
✔️ Register assets, create insurance engagements and policies
💻Invited by: MAC
Responsibilities: You can be granted access by the Master Asset Contact (MAC) to review comprehensive portfolio information including an asset portfolio, risks with rich historical data and detailed mitigation efforts.
In addition you can invite insurers to the platform via insurer engagements and insurance policies, allowing insurers to obtain detailed information facilitating efficient access and simplified information to quote and close.
Upload insurance policy outcomes, assigning policies to assets and granting access to policy providers. The ability to respond to insurance queries (off-platform), monitor and receive reporting allowing you to share consolidated information with insurers for notification purposes. You get alerted to major risks and incidents, and NATCAT data for all assets you have access.
You can also add additional Broker Support to help you manage your Broking client.

Insurer

Insurer's get a clear, streamlined view of organisational asset portfolio data with executive summaries and detailed asset reports in multiple export formats. Easily access an organised asset schedule to assess risk and insurance needs through an engagement summary for quoting purposes.
Stay informed on major risks and incidents with transparent, verified data on assets covered under an active policy.

Head Office

You have visibility of assets you're assigned to and can view:
- Insights, related to the assets
- Risks, Incidents, and ASSC
- Live Insurance policies related to the assets you are assigned only.
Please note: As an example, if you have an insurance policy and permission to view one asset, and there are 5 assets on the insurance policy - you will only be able to see the one asset you have permission to view.
Types of industry titles that hold Head Office roles: You may be an internal representative, a company, fund or trust representative. This role may be occupied by a Risk Manager or Business Analyst.
Investment Fund Manager

💻Invited by: MAC, MACD or SAC
You have transparency to assets to bring understanding and allocation of funds across the portfolio and your detailed fund structure. You can register, track and export fund reports including the ease of exporting risks by fund view.
Incident Protocol Group
🫡 User permission rights - Incident Module
✔️ Notifications, and view of incidents
You are amongst a select group of people nominated to receive communications on Major incidents as they are reported as part of your organisation. This role allows you to receive real-time notifications in real-time and gives you access to the incident registered.
Broker Partner Administrator

✔️ Register team, view and download reports
You're the go-to person for managing your organisation's broker team on the platform.
Approve New Broker requests and add new Broker's to your team.
View Insurance Engagements and Insurance Policies across your team to manage assignments and keep everything running smoothly while delivering vital data insights for a clear, complete view of your business activity.
Insurer Partner Administrator

You're the key contact for managing your organisation's insurer registrations and team maintenance on the platform. Your strategic allocations empower your team with efficient operational insights while providing you with vital data for a transparent and complete view of your business activity on the platform.
Partner Member

✔️ Register, view and download reports
A partner member is a team member and user assigned to an approved Broker Organisation or an Insurer Organisation. This gives exclusive rights to use the platform, be invited to engagements and policies.
