If you are a Broker and want to include your team or staff members on platform to help action items whether updating asset data, adding insurance policies or creating insurance engagements - this can be done easily.
There are two ways to add members to platform.
Firstly, it is important to note your broker team is known as a partner organisation.
Example - if your advisory or brokerage is named Broker City - Broker City will have an appointed Broker Partner Adminstrator (BPA) that manages your team on platform and assigns users to the relevant clients that have assigned you as their Broker.
Option 1 - Recommended
Have your Broker Partner Adminstrator add the new user and assign them to one or more clients.
Manage my partner organisation > Add Member > Enter User Details > Assign to Clients
Option 2
Add the new team member via My Team > Add Team Member. They will be assigned to the organisation you are adding them to.
You will need approval from your BPA for them to be added.
Broker User Permissions
The appointed Broker who was initially assigned by the client organisation wwill be listed as the appointed Broker under My Team.
Each member added will have a Broker role. Activity will be under modifications where changes have been made if you need to see activity by people in your team.
Broker permissions are all the same within a team and include:
- Creating an Asset
- Editing data on an asset
- Creating insurer engagements
- Adding insurance policies
It is important to note, when you add an asset on behalf of the client, they will need to approve the onboarding of the asset, this includes data and sums insured changes and release of data to insurers for quoting.
