Short to medium term environmental damage taking up to 12 months to return to preexisting conditions
Financial damage/estimated cost to rectify >$5,000 & <$50,000 and/or unplanned interruption for >2 hours & <8 hours (Electricity, Gas, Water, Sewerage and tenancy unable to trade)
MAJOR
Injuries to one or multiple people requiring hospitalisation, permanent impairment and/or fatality
Environmental impact beyond site boundaries, that has to be reported to the authorities
Likely to cause public media interest
Has long term damage to environment taking greater than 12 months or rectification
Financial damage/estimated cost to rectify >$50,000 and/or unplanned interruption for >8 hours (Electricity, Gas, Water, Sewerage and tenancy unable to trade)
