I need to replace a Broker from my organisation

If you are a broker and need to replace a broker in your team visit this article

If your insurance is moving to a new broker team to be managed - you can replace the broker on platform. 

Follows the steps below and it is important to keep a few things in mind.

1. Broker's from a new brokerage can only be added by the MAC or by our super administration team.
2. The new brokerage must have an agreement to use Vision RECap. Email hello@visionrecap.com if you need support with this. It is easy to get set up.
3. When you add a new broker - you will need to upload the Letter of Authority so they can act on your behalf. 
4. The broker you remove or replace is only removed from the organisation - not the platform. 

Ensuring you do not lose insurance data - Remove and Replace Broker

It is important that we follow the process of replacing a broker (organisation) with a new broker (organisation) via 'Remove &/or replace'.

This ensures all insurance entities remain on platform and are assigned to the new broker so they have full visibility and you do not lose any insurance data that is current. 

• To do this go to MY Team
• Make sure the new broker is added first
• Then - Select the Broker you need to replace and click on the three dots
• Select 'remove and replace'

If the Broker you are replacing has assigned insurance policies or engagements you want to assign them to a new member. This will pop up if they have insurance assignments.

To follow on - filter 'Broker' and make sure any other broker team member is removed and offboarded relating to the Broker organisation you are removing. 

You can keep assigning any insurance assignments to the new broker.
