Background
A broker will need to prepare an insurance engagement draft and select/invite a list of insurers to the asset portfolio for their client.
When naming the insurer Engagement we recommend including:
- Name of Client/Organisation
- Address or another identifying factor for the insurer
- This will headline for the insurer engagement in the Insurers Platform for easy identification. The below is an example of how it will display
Once the insurer engagement draft is submitted it will need to be approved by the Master Asset Contact (MAC) to release the asset's data to the insurers you have invited.

As the MAC will need to approve the release of data. Here are the steps a MAC will need to complete to approve the data and engagement summary for insurers to view and quote. What's my role again? I need a refresher
- Go to Insurance tab in the left-hand navigation menu
- The select insurer engagement in the top bar
- Select the relevant engagement card for the asset
- Review accordingly and when satisfied - Click 'Approve'
- A pop-up will ask you to confirm your choice, click 'confirm'
- Done! The Broker will now be notified that they've got the thumbs up to share that data with Insurers
