To login and access Vision RECap we provide Two Factor Authentication (2FA), or commonly known as Multifactor Authentication (MFA), to strengthen platform security. This process is designed for users to verify themselves and require a two-step process, a password combined with a secondary time-based one-time passcode (TOTP) providing a multi-factor solution.

You can set up 2FA via Microsoft or Google Authenticator apps on your mobile device.
Microsoft Authenticator App - Setting Up 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- Sign In with your Microsoft Account login credentials|
- Login to Vision RECap with your credentials (email and password) from your Laptop
- If this is your first login, 2FA prompts will appear. Select 'Setup 2FA Now'
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device
- Tap the '+' icon to add a new account, then choose 'Work or school account' or 'Personal account' as prompted
OR, if you already have the Microsoft Authenticator App on your device
- Tap the '+' icon to add a new account, then choose 'Work or school account' or 'Personal account' as prompted
Choose Scan QR code in APP, (bottom right corner) then scan with your mobile device the displayed QR Code on your computer screen or enter the setup key manually. Note this code will refresh every 30 seconds
Enter the verification code displayed in the authenticator app, tick the checkbox 'Trust this device for 30days' and click 'Enable 2FA' on your web browser for Vision ReCap. Note by ticking Trust this device... your next 2FA Prompt will be in 30days.
👍Done! You should be directed straight to your Homepage in Vision RECap.

Google Authenticator App - Setting Up 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)
Download the Google Authenticator App on your mobile device via Google or the Apple Store
Log in as needed to the app with your relevant google credentials.
- Click the “+” sign or “Add an Account” button in the app. This will initiate the process of adding a new account to Google Authenticator.
- You will be presented with two options: “Scan a barcode” or “Enter a provided key”. Choose the “Scan a barcode” option to scan the QR code using your device’s camera.
- Point your device’s camera at the QR code that you want to scan. Ensure that the QR code is within the boundaries of the camera viewfinder.
- Google Authenticator will automatically detect and scan the QR code. It will then generate a unique, time-based code specific to that account.
- Done! After successfully scanning the QR code, this account will be added to your Google Authenticator App. You will see your account name and corresponding code on the main screen of the App.

If you change Mobile devices follow this 3 step process;
- Contact Vision RECap by submitting a ticket and request your 2FA to be reset
- Once actioned by our admin, you will receive a confirmation email.
