"Review areas highlighted in red to progress" when adding a Building to my Asset

What does it mean when receiving this error, "Review areas highlighted in red to progress" when adding a Building to my Asset?

The main reason this error occurs is due to the Gross Lettable Area (GLA) of the asset and the total building/s GLA values mismatching. 

When adding a building to your asset, please be aware that the sum of your building/s GLA should be equal to the Asset's total GLA.

How to fix error message when adding building assets:

1. Go to the Asset's Details tab
2. Find 'Physical Building Description'
3. Refer to question, 'What is the GLA of this Asset'
   • Ensure that the GLA of the sum of your 'buildings' match the value entered in this field.

Next: 

1. View 'buildings' tab section under the asset and check each individual building by 'Physical Building Description' to make sure it adds up or does not exceed the GLA.

To update the GLA for the building press 'View/Edit Asset' in top right-hand corner

• Then select 'Building' in the left menu
• Choose from the building you want to edit in the list and press the action (three dots) button - View/Edit
• Go to 'What is the Gross Lettable (GLA) of this building?' and adjust the value entered in this field as necessary.

Once the values of the GLA of the building/s in the asset are equal to the Asset's GLA, the details will successfully save

Please note if you are still experiencing an error, you may have buildings in modification that require review, this may need to be approved first before the new submission can be updated.
